First Communion

First Communion Carmen021

Catholics believe that in the Eucharist we receive the Lord.  The Eucharist is traced to the Last Supper when Jesus instructed his disciples to offer bread and wine in his memory.  When we gather for this sacrament, we celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Christ.

First Communion is received in 2nd grade. Please see the St. Joseph’s Faith Formation page for more information. You may also email or call the Religious Education Office at  (608) 884-3038, option 2.
