B. You were confirmed Catholic. You are married, but it was not within the Catholic Church.

  • You may register for the Parish and start coming to Sunday Mass. We do ask that you abstain from the Holy Eucharist until your marriage is blessed by the Catholic Church.
  • Contact the office to start Marriage Preparation. Once Marriage Preparation is completed, a priest will bless your marriage in private or at a formal Catholic Wedding.
    • You are able to receive Confession just before your Catholic Wedding so you can receive the Holy Eucharist on that special day.
    • If you or your spouse have a previous marriage, there are additional steps before Marriage Preparation can start.
  • If your spouse isn’t a Catholic, they are able to join the Catholic Faith through our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program. They cannot receive any sacraments until after your marriage is blessed, but they are welcome to take the classes at any point.
  • If you have children, contact the Coordinator of Faith Formation to discuss how they will best fit within our Faith Formation program and if they need sacrament preparation.
