4:30 – 7:30 p.m. NOTE NEW TIME
COME TO THE QUIET: We live in a life of distractions, busyness, and noise. Jesus invites us to spend some quiet time with him. He truly cares for our well-being. Matthew Kelly’s insights into Mark 6:31… Jesus said,
“Come,
Jesus is calling us away – from what is making us too busy to be with him; being in the presence of Jesus is transformative
away by yourselves
Step away from others to be with Jesus – do not be afraid of missing out of anything
to a deserted place
A quiet place – silence can make us uneasy, but Jesus gives us relief and comfort
and rest a while.”
Get rest – from this quiet, our soul is refreshed so we can be calm, peaceful, and filled with joy
