 Mission Statement

Following the Gospel according to Matthew:  "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind" (Mt 22:37) and "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Mt 22:39)
Saint Joseph Catholic Church strives to meet the spiritual, educational and fellowship needs of its parish members, as well as the service needs of  the Edgerton community and the World community in order to prepare every parish member to develop their fill potential as Christians in a changing world.
Our ultimate mission is to share our faith and spread the message of God through our actions in an attempt to bring about positive change at home and abroad.

Saint Joseph Parish Council & Commissions
There are nine members of the Parish Council elected at large from the Parish membership.  These nine are joined by the Pastor, the two Parish Trustees and the Coordinator of Religious Education.  Their priority is the implementation of the goals as contained in the Mission Statement of Saint Joseph's.
The Parish Council acts as consul and gatherer of information to assist the Pastor in his many and varied tasks as the appointed Shepherd of the Parish.
All members are invited and encouraged to participate in one or more of the commissions, listed to the left, as well as the Parish Council.  It is only in this way, with this kind pf participation, that the mind of the Parish can be known to the Pastor and the needs of the Parish fulfilled.
